Cute Card Thursday Challenge 19

I've been itching to use this Penny Black stamp and the Cute Card Thursday Challenge gave me the perfect opportunity!

The challenge:-

Challenge 19 Animals Only - No People Allowed. The challenge this week is to make a card using animal images only - NO PEOPLE OR CHARACTERS AT ALL!!

The image was watercoloured and glitter added to the centre of the flowers. The collar was just crying out for gems and I thought I would match the flower using glitter and a brad with a gem. The cardstock and
background paper is from a fantastic kit I bought from QVC from DCWV which is so full of goodies, I had to have a lie down after cutting into it. Not only that, but ribbon as well - I shall be in therapy for the rest of the week if you need me ...........

Engagement!

My eldest daughter Amy and her boyfriend Paul returned from their holiday just over a week ago and came back engaged! I'm so happy for them both and this card is for them to wish them lots of luck and happiness :-)

The images and sentiment are by Penny Black and I'm not sure who the gorgeous paper is by but I saw it and just had to have it!!

Magnolia Candy

Check out http://andreabrownjohn.blogspot.com/2008/07/magnolia-blog-candy-pauline-from.html for some amazing Magnolia blog candy and some inspirational ideas.

Same image - different card

Keeping in line with my "two at a time" regime, her is the same image in a different colour. the papers again are by K & Co and though I didn't have a plan - I'm quite pleased with the result.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This image was kindly sent to me by Sandra and was simply watercoloured. I decided to use him for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which, for this week, is to create a card using a sketch. The papers are by K & Co and the image in the corner is also by Penny Black and was embossed using holographic powder and I finally finished off with a flower.

You've been framed!!

I just love these frames from Craftwork Cards :-) This was simply coloured using chalks and adding a bit of "bling" The sentiment is simply a sticker on a piece of beloved ribbon .....

One for the boys!!

Thought I ought to do one in blue just to even things up!!

New Baby

My sister asked me to make this card for a friend of hers. The image is by Paper Nation and was coloured with watercolour pencils and the safety pin stamped and embossed. Nice and simple - just how I like it!!
